Startups have the chance to win a cash prize for the best presentation and other awards given by the sponsors. Winners will be determined by votes from all the guests at the event and by the sponsors. In addition, the Grand Prix winner of the Southeast Asia round will be invited to attend RISING EXPO 2016 in Japan.

RISING EXPO Event

Conditions for Applying

  1. Applicants must be IT and Internet related startups (both enterprise and consumer focused startups can apply).
  2. Applicants must have launched their service and have a user base, or have achieved revenue milestones.
  3. Applicants must be raising more than $1 Million USD in venture capital.
  4. Applicants must be able to attend the interview session held in each country, or arrange for a call, after passing the document screening (pre-screening).
    NOTE: Date of the interview session will be arranged individually.

※The location of the startup's offices will not be a factor in the application process.
※There is no participation fee.

Only start-ups that have passed the pre-screening are allowed to attend the event on the day.
